The Pink Faun Scion is our introduction to high-end digital playback, bringing Pink Faun’s proprietary hardware and software technologies into a compact and accessible music server and streamer.

Designed from the ground up for exceptional musical performance, the Scion combines advanced power supply design and grounding solutions, carefully selected hardware and our proprietary Pink Faun OS into a platform that delivers a natural, engaging and emotionally convincing musical experience. Whether playing locally stored music or streaming through services such as Qobuz (connect) and Tidal, the Scion offers a seamless gateway into the Pink Faun ecosystem.

Purpose-Built Power Architecture
At the heart of the Scion is a power supply developed specifically for its platform. Rather than adapting technology from our flagship models, we designed a completely new architecture optimized for the Scion’s requirements.

A dedicated low-noise linear power supply is complemented by a high-transient supercapacitor-based supply that independently powers the digital outputs. This approach minimizes noise, improves stability and preserves the timing accuracy essential for hi-fidelity digital playback.

Pink Faun OS
The Scion runs Pink Faun OS, our proprietary operating system developed entirely in-house. By controlling both hardware and software development, we can optimize every stage of the playback chain and ensure a stable, responsive and highly musical user experience.

Pink Faun OS provides a seamless platform for Roon* and Qobuz Connect**, allowing effortless access to local music libraries and streaming services while maintaining the sonic performance expected from a dedicated high-end source component.

Comprehensive Digital Connectivity
The Scion features a carefully engineered selection of digital outputs:

USB Output: Based on the ASMedia ASM3142 controller with upgraded clock circuitry and dedicated low-noise regulation.

SPDIF Output: With both coaxial RCA and AES/EBU connections, supported by dedicated clock circuitry and independent power regulation.

Each output operates from its own dedicated power rail, ensuring maximum signal integrity and compatibility with a wide range of DACs.
