The Aglaya is a two way speaker supported by an active bass and supertweeter. It uses a 30 cm horn speaker with 114dB lineairized Altec alnico 16 Ohm compression driver passively crossed over at 600 Hz to a 17 cm 96 dB Suprafox bas mid driver. To provide a solid base an active crossover and a in-house developed 140W class D-amplifier is driving a 90dB ScanSpeak Revelator bass driver below 60 Hz.

The speaker is made of birch plywood, with a lot of special placed stiffening to minimize resonances and reflections. because of this, we only need very few damping, making the system very fast and dynamic. The round horn is hung up in a steel frame between the bass and bass mid enclosure, in wooden supports. To provide very fast and detailed high frequencies the alnico Fostex supertweeter is added, crossed at 18kHz first order.

The speaker can be delievered in any finish. Standardly it will be available painted and fineered.
