This is the Pink Faun tube single ended amplifier. This amplifier uses the EML 20A DHT as driver, EML 300B output tube and amorpheous grid chokes and output transformers by Tribute. Other output tubes like 2A3, PX25, 50, etc are all possible.

The amplifier uses 2 times Mullard EY84 tube rectifiers for slow startup rectification, OA2 bias voltage stabilisation. Chassis contains of a brushed stainless steel cover over a 2 to 4 mm thick black powder coated steel frame. The amplifiers have three compartments, one for the power transformer and rectifiers, one for the power supply smoothing and stabilisations and one for the signal part, to reduce hum and noise to a minimum. The tubes are mounted on birch plywood subchassis decoupled by rubber dampers from the steel frame.

The signal part is hardwired point-to-point and power supplies and controls are build on special high Hf rejection design double sided PCBs. High voltage power supply is choke loaded. The amplifier uses two specially designed low core saturation shielded torroidal power transformers, one for the heaters and controls, and one for the high voltage signal power supply, mounted on rubbers for low noise. The signal tubes have VCCS stabilisation on their heaters, CCS load on the pre tube and AFB automatic bias control with high current protection on the power tube (no fuses in the signal). The parts are specially choosen for best performance, like Allen Bradley and other mil spec resistors, paper-oil coupling capacitor, low esr, high temperature power supply capacitors, tin plated copper/teflon wire, NOS militairy teflon and Amphenol ceramic tube sockets.
