Keep it simple
We believe it is very important to keep the signal line simple. Use as less parts as possible, do not use feedback if it can be avoided. It all is not necessary if you use the right parts in the right place. Power supplies are very important, they are the heart of the amplifier. Not only should they provide enough power, but they also should filter out hum and, maybe even more important, high frequency noise from the wall socket and rectifiers. A good power supply is very hard to make and there are only very few amplifiers having them. We did a lot of research on power supplies, resulting in very powerfull dynamic and dead silent amplifiers.

Best parts at each position
We do not strickly believe in Tubes. One should use the right parts in the right place, and fets or transistors can be better than tubes in certain applications. We only use the least sounding parts available in our designs, so music will be reveiled. We use militairy specifications paper in oil caps, film caps in power supplies, low ESR electrolytics, Allen Bradley composite resistors, tin plated copper wire with telfon shielding, special designed transformers and very stable and heavy chassis.

Just music
In all our designs the signal parts are wired point-to-point to minimize outside influences. Also they are mounted on birch plywood sub chassis on rubber dampers to avoid vibrations coming from the chassis into the signal part. We have developed some unique new circuits, like CCS, VCCS and AFB. Together with the choice of our parts, all this contributes to the music Pink Faun equipment is able to reproduce.
