Passion for audio equipment
Let me introduce myself, I am Mattijs de Vries, founder and owner of Pink Faun. I graduated on the University of Twente in Applied Physics, on ultra low noise super conducting magnetic field sensors. My passion is building amplifiers, trying out new concepts and listening to the sound of different parts, circuit topology and equipment. I have gained a lot of experience in the sound behaviour of parts during trading of them, advising people and getting their feedback in return, building my own equipment and modifications. All this knowledge comes together in the Pink Faun designs. All Pink Faun amplifiers are designed and personally tested and checked by me before they are delivered to our customers.

From parts to finished products
Pink Faun is a trading name of Machmat tube and audio parts sales. With Machmat we have over 15 years experience in trading audio parts, DIY kits, modifications, restoring of equipment and custom design. People liked our equipment very much and more and more we got questions if we couldn't build these designs commercially. This is how Pink Faun emerged.

Small volume, low price, great service
Pink Faun does not aim on high volume and high profit, we just want to deliver great music in your room or studio at normal prices. Great advantage of small volume is that we can use the best parts available, mostly these are only found in smaller quantities. We do not try to make things as cheap as possible, but as good as possible, prices follow automatically. Pink Faun products do not need any modifications, it already is done standardly. Typical it takes over a year of listening and optimizing before a new Pink Faun product gets to the market. We do not work with distributors, we can handle that directly from our own company, and it saves you their margin. We only work with a few special dealers, only them with good sense and knowledge will be selected to sell our products.
